Your journey starts here. Growth Track gets you on the path to get connect at Capital Baptist. We’ll help you get plugged into your faith, find just the right group for your current season of life, and help you get connected on our serve team.
Belong
Here at Capital, community is everything. This world is easier to get through with a support group and community of like minded believers in Christ that are willing to come alongside you. We thrive while chasing careers and kids together. You can too. Not everyday is sunshine and roses but we have our joy through Jesus and we have each other. We would love to call you family in Christ.
Are you ready to make a decision to follow Christ?
The only way to find forgiveness from God and to begin a relationship with Him is to trust in Jesus’ sacrifice for you and repent—turn from your sins. We urge you to take this step of faith today. To do that, simply talk to God—this is called praying—and tell Him you believe in His Son. We suggest a prayer like this:
"Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward in the fellowship of your church. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen."

Serve
It is written for the church to be the hands and feet of God. The church is us: people who love Jesus by serving others, parking cars, holding babies, praying with others, pouring coffee, and opening our homes and much more. In this, God transforms us and allows us to live up to our God-given potential. Serving provides us the opportunity to know more about how we are created: our likes and dislikes, what we can do well and what we cannot.
God fills in the picture for us. We discover more about our purpose and how He is growing us while He uses us to meet the needs of others. We learn best by doing.
Every week at Capital, we are given the opportunity to practice putting our attention less on ourselves and more on others. God weaves a beautiful relationship between both working in us and through us.

Evangelism unites all nations, races, tribes and cultures and here at Capital, we strive to do just that. We do it through local community outreach and supporting missionaries around the world.

God has called us to worship.

Lifestyle
Being a Christian is a lifestyle and not a title or just a Sunday morning appointment. The transformation that takes place is amazing . Through the practical teachings and caring support here at Capital, you can experience it too.
