Jesus commanded every church in every letter to HEAR what the Spirit is saying to the churches (Revelation 2:7, 2:11, 2:17, 2:29; 3:6, 3:13, 3:22). They were told there would be great benefits for listening and severe consequences for not listening.

The application is clear; we are to keep growing in Christ! And in doing so we will experience His presence and power in life and His reward in eternity.
