Women’s Retreat

Women’s weekends at Sandy Cove … a women’s retreat full of hundreds of sisters in Christ, worshiping, relaxing, laughing, talking. Gather a group of friends and Sandy Cove will take care of the planning so you can enjoy a stress free, fun, and spiritual weekend away from your daily routine.

Our retreat program on November 8-10 will include breakout sessions at Sandy Cove. We will enjoy speaker Damaris Car­baugh, worship music, & several breakout sessions to choose. We will also have an optional devotion time Saturday morning. Free time will be available as well as “Spaghetti Time” with our group.

Damaris will lead us in Praise & Worship She communicates with joy and laughter all while presenting the truth of who God in a way that trans­ forms lives. Damaris wants to serve the Lord, and she is set to encourage.

Directions From I-95 (a toll road), take Maryland Exit 100 (northbound) or 100A (southbound), onto Route 272 South, to the town ofNorth East. About three miles past the quaint downtown district, you’ll see Sandy Cove’s sign \on right.

DAMARIS CARBAUGH

Damaris Carbaugh’ s depth of love and devotion for her Lord and Savior, Je­sus Christ, is so evident through her special gift of song and powerful speaking ministry. Damaris reveals a true servant’s heart through her beautiful voice and infec­tious love for teaching God’s Word, which reflects her personal spiritual journey. This talented musician was a featured soloist with the Brooklyn Tab­ernacle Choir and regularly appeared on the “Day of Discovery” television program. “Walk With Me” is the latest of her fifteen albums. After years of being a gospel singer, her gift to communicate and her zeal for the Word of God expanded her ministry. She has now become a much sought-after conference speaker in the US as well as Latin America, and has published a book in Spanish entitled, “Adios a mi.”
